Raita is an excellent yogurt-based condiment that can help reduce the heat if a dish is just a little too hot and spicy.

Ingredients
3/4 cup natural (plain) yogurt
2-3 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients and blend well
  2. Place in refrigerator for an hour to allow mixture to fuse
  3. Serve with your favourite Indian dish and enjoy!
