Pork Chops and Maple Beets

Delicious pork chops with sweet beets and maple syrup.

Ingredients
2-4 Pork Chops - thick
1 Tbsp Corriander seeds
2 Beets (medium/large) diced
3/4 cup Maple syrup
3/4 cup Chicken broth
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp Butter
Salt & Pepper
Instructions
Grind coriander seeds and add salt & pepper
Rub pork chops with corriander and set aside
Preheat over to 350F
Peel beets and dice
In saucepan and beets, maple syrup, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce and bring to a boil for about 10 minutes
Using a cast iron skillet (preferred), add butter and brown both sides and edges
Add beet sauce to skillet and place in oven at 350F for approximately 15 minutes, depending on thickness of chops
Once pork chops are cook through remove and cover in foil
Place skillet over medium/high heat and allow sauce to thicken
Plate pork chops and spoon beet sauce over
Serve with your favourite vegetables
