Chicken Wings
1-2 tsp Cornstarch
2/3 cup Franks Hot Souce
1/4 tsp Cayene
1/8 tsp Garlic powder
1/4 tsp White pepper
1 1/2 tbsp White vinegar
2 tbsp Olive oil
Chicken Wings
- Preheat oven to 250F
- Pat dry chicken wings
- Toss chicken wings in cornstarch
- Place chicken wings on baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes
- Raise oven temperature to 435F and bake for 45-50 minutes
- Serve with hot sauce on the side or tossed
Hot Sauce
- Combine all hot sauce ingredients and set aside while wings are baking
- Once wings are cooked either toss wings in sauce or as a dipping sauce
Using cornstarch makes a huge difference. The cornstarch draws moisture to the surface of the skin which will evaporate leaving a crispy skin yet very moist chicken.
