This Brazilian rub salmon is sweet & spicy but also very easy to make

2 Salmon fillets
1 tablespoon Brown sugar
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1/2 teaspoon Chili powder
2 teaspoons Paprika
2 Garlic cloves
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- Mix together the ingredients except for the lemon juice to make the rub
- Place salmon on a tinfoil covered baking pan and spray the surface with olive oil
- Cover the salmon evenly with the rub on one side
- Drizzle the lemon juice on the salmon
- Place in the over and bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 425°F
You can use cayenne pepper instead of chili powder although it can make it spicier. If you have any smoked paprika you can replace 1 teaspoon of paprika with this to give it a better taste.
