Banana Nut Bread

Simple, easy and delicious banana bread.  Perfect even if the bananas are not very ripe.  Go ahead, treat yourself.

Ingredients
1 ¼ cups All purpose flour
1 tsp Baking soda
½ tsp Salt
2 Eggs, large at room temperature
½ tsp Vanilla extract
1 Stick unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup Sugar
3 Ripe bananas mashed well
½ cup Walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Mix flour, salt and baking soda and set aside
  3. Whisk eggs and vanilla and set aside
  4. In a larger bowl cream the butter and sugar until fluffy
  5. Gradually pour egg mixture into the butter continuing to mix well
  6. Add bananas and continue to mix well
  7. Using a spatula blend in the flour and mix well
  8. Add walnuts
  9. Pour mixture into a greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan
  10. Bake for approximately 60 minutes (based on your oven)
  11. Bread will be baked when you can insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
  12. Let cool before removing from pan
  13. Enjoy!
Tips

Be sure to have all ingredients at room temperature.
